Hammam Effects

If you want to eliminate toxins while having a break far from stress and routine...Come to the Hammam.

The mere fact of being in contact with water, the body tends to relax. Adding to that comes the atmosphere, a tenuous light, a chill out melody, and a quiet ambience that are a powerful antistress therapy.

The secret of the Hammam is the temperatures and steam mixture. The contrast of the temperatures from warm wateroom to cold one has a strong stimulating effect on blood stream. Also, it eliminates toxins through sweating action. We recommend consuming abundant liquid to improve renal action; it will also help to reduce corporal weight.

Hammam history

The public bath ritual comes from Greek athletes, but it was during the Roman period that it became a public institution.

With Islam, the baths endure some architectural adaptations. In fact, the rooms dedicated to body care were extended ending with gymnasia and rooms of reading. Also, the hygiene rules improved with the permanent renewed of water instead of stagnant water on roman pools.

Hammam was a place of rest as well as a religious one. (Koran insists on the ablutions for the prayer, the body purification to obtain soul one). Also, it’s a political and social gathering place, " a peculiar social space of relax”.
